3D Lettering

Creative Brief: Inspired by the 36 Days of Type challenge, I set out to create a series of 3D typographic illustrations that celebrated each letter of the Latin alphabet, plus numerals 0-9, as unique works of art. My goal was to explore diverse styles, textures, and lighting techniques to make each character visually distinct while honoring the fundamentals of type design.

Role: Art Director & 3D Artist

Process: Working in Blender, I approached each letter and numeral as its own experiment. I varied the styles across bold geometric forms, intricate textures, and dynamic lighting to bring out a wide range of aesthetic possibilities. The design choices were guided by a desire to showcase the individuality of each character, blending type fundamentals with modern, experimental artistry.

Result: The final collection stands as a celebration of typography’s versatility, merging digital art and design fundamentals in a playful, visually compelling series. This project resonated with viewers, sparking inspiration to see type in a new way—as both art and a means of communication.
