Creative Brief: Create a custom typeface

Role: Type Designer

Process: Aldino is a typeface resurrected from 19th Century woodtype. It is based largely on William H. Page's 1870 "Aldine" but with my own interpretations including the addition of a lowercase which is not found in the original. This display typeface is reverse contrast and sports massive slab serifs.
